After seeing plenty of rainfall around the area for the past two days, things are going to be hot and humid for us here in Mid Missouri. The high humidity in addition to temperatures in the lower 90s today and middle 90s tomorrow will make for some uncomfotable heat. When you factor the two together, we will see heat indices in the upper 90s and even above 100 degrees!
While this is perfect weather to be out at the pool or the lake, it will be dangerous. Make sure that you are wearing sunscreen and sunglasses to protect your skin and eyes from harmful UV rays. Also, stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids, this is important especially if you plan to be outside for extended periods of time. If you can avoid the sun, do so.. especially between 10am and 3pm.

I saw that NOAA Weather Service reported that large hail fell in Columbia and Booneville to you know what areas they are refering to.
They had hail that fell, it was 1.75" in those two areas. We had two storm cells that ripped through Howard, Boone, and Callaway on Wednesday evening between 5-7pm. It produced plenty of hail and even spawned a few tornado warnings in Howard and Callaway. Does that answer your question?
