Active Weather Pattern Continues

There is a stationary front drapped over the midwest that is continuing to bring us showers and thunderstorms throughout your morning into the afternoon as well. The warm air is riding up above the cooler air which is sparking thunderstorm development across the midwest. Some of these do have the potential to be strong to severe. We are in a slight risk for severe weather according to the SPC for your Monday:

That slight risk also looks to continue into tomorrow as well. The unsettled weather pattern will stick around for Tuesday until this stationary front finally moves out. A strong high pressure system will finally knock the boundary line out of here and things will heat up by mid week. After all the rainfall things will get hot and humid around Mid Missouri. We will be close to 90 degrees for Wednesday and Thursdsay!
