Severe Weather Expected Tomorrow

Hey Folks!

Tomorrow a cold front will slide in from the north and bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms especially in the afternoon. There will be a complex of showers and storms that move through northern Missouri tonight and tomorrow morning. With this round of storms, I don't expect much of Mid- Missouri to get wet; however, with the day time heating storms will form ahead and along the cold frontal boundary tomorrow afternoon.

The primary threats for tomorrow will be large hail and damaging winds in excess of 60mph. These storms will travel to the southeast tomorrow and will make their way out of the region Tuesday, as the cold front stalls in Southern Missouri late in the day Tuesday afternoon.

Tomorrow, before storms form, expect highs to reach into the middle 90s once again! Remember to limit time outdoors, apply plenty of sunscreen (SPF 45+), and drink plenty of water if heading out!

Til next time!

Anthony
