Hey Mid Missouri!
Sunday began our dry spell and this dry weather will last through the rest of the week! A high pressure area will shift eastward today and will stall over the Ohio Valley. Because of this, any storm systems that push into the Central Plains will be deflected north toward the Upper Mississippi River Valley and into the Great Lakes area. This high pressure will keep our skies mostly clear through the week and will begin to pump hot and humid air back into the region. With winds from the south through the rest of the week, temperatures will easily climb into the 90s and overnight lows will remain mild, in the mid to upper 60s.
Overall, this would be a good week to head to the pool or even wash that car! Enjoy the sunny days & remember your sunscreen!
Anthony
