Tonight we will begin to see rain and wind increase as Ike makes its way into Southern Missouri. Overnight expect rain showers, wind, and a few rumbles of thunder. Ike will finally push out of the region tomorrow evening, leaving cooler temperatures. The worst of the storm will hit overnight and tomorrow early morning. Areas along the I-44 corridor can expect 6-9 inches of rain by Sunday evening. Areas around Columbia, Jeff City, and Fulton can expect to see around 3-5 inches of rain.
After Ike moves out, our weather will become quite quiet....Lots of sunshine and highs in the middle 70s.
