Hey Mid-Missouri!
Once again as the seasons change, so will the leaves begin to, and our temperatures will as well. This weekend ushers in the next season and the first day of Fall begins Monday at 10:44am. This fall expect to see lots of vibrant colors on the trees here in Mid-Mo. This past spring and summer brought lots of rainfall (about 8" above average) & with cool, clear evenings we've been seeing this past week, expect for leaves to begin changing colors! These perfect ingredients will set the stage for a beautiful fall foilage season!
This weekend expect afternoon highs to hang out in the middle and upper 70s. There is an upper level trough expected to move through later tonight. This will keep clouds in the area tonight and tomorrow. There is a slight chance for an evening shower tomorrow, but MOST DEFINITELY NOT AN ALL DAY WASHOUT! Most of us will stay dry and those that see rain will at most pick up half an inch or less.
As far as the weather calendar is concerned, we've gotten some awesome pics! Thank you all for your submissions. Unfortunately, we can not pick ALL the pictures we've received, so therefore I will post all the submissions on here for everyone to enjoy once the final selection is made.
Anthony
(I'm a bit in the fall spirit...hence all the color changes!!) :-D
