Heading into the Weekend

Hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather today. It does look to continue as we inch our way closer to the weekend. Temperatures look to slowly begin to warm up for Thursday and Friday. The high pressure system up by the great lakes will start to lose control and a low pressure system will build in for the weekend. This shifts our winds to the South, in turn helping up to warm up with highs in the middle and upper 60s, maybe even around 70 degrees! Quite warm for November! It is a big change from October when we were well below average with temperatures and well above average in precipitation this time last month.

However, a good thing can't last forever. A low pressure system usually means we will see increases in moisture to the area as those winds shift to the South sending up gulf moisture. This comes in the form of clouds for Saturday and Sunday, the rain looks to enter the picture by the start of the work week. Keep it right here to KOMU 8 News for the latest forecast to plan your day!
