I've posted two so far about the approaching storm system headed our way. It looks like this could be a major snow storm setting up.
Overnight, locally heavy rain will drench the area. This will change over to snow and sleet tomorrow mid-day. Total sleet and snow accumulations are expected to be around 1" by Monday afternoon.
Monday night another round of snow will move into the area. This part of the storm will dump about 3-6 across areas from Columbia, Fulton, and Montgomery City. Areas south of here by Lake of the Ozarks and Hermann can expect up to 10" of snow before its all said and done on Tuesday afternoon.
You know I couldn't help but post SOMETHING about this dynamic system.
Let me know some of the snow totals out there tomorrow! 'Til then...
hey anthony no snow tuesday whats up? your forcast was not even close. all of these false alarms and unending warnings are giving me a rash. favorite shows interupted all night for what? I have not seen a major storm event all winter!!!! quit scaring people. leave us alone ps love your cajun accent from ozark jeff
The rash... (LOL) Believe me, I've been up all night wondering where's the snow!!!
Most of our area missed the worst of this snow storm. The band of snow was very narrow with this storm and as the system pulled Norh and East Monday evening, most of the heaviest snow was along I -44. Some areas towards Hermann picked up some accumulation, but the hardest hit was along I-44 and areas into St. Louis.
We dodged what could have been a big snow storm for most of central missouri, but drive 60 miles east towards St. Louis, you'll quickly see lots of snow on the ground...
Enjoying your comments, keep 'em coming.
Send us some pics of snow...*if you received any!*
